StoryMate uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies to run the service. We do not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, and we never sell your data.

Cookies we set

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in after you log in. It is HTTP-only, Secure, and expires after 30 days (or when you sign out).
• Kids Mode — remembers whether the child-safe view is active so it survives a page refresh.
• Theme — remembers your light/dark preference.

Managing cookies

Because these cookies are essential to signing in and using the app, disabling them in your browser will prevent StoryMate from working correctly. You can clear them any time through your browser settings, and signing out removes the session cookie.
